ABOUT
The 4th Infantry Division is an adult gaming clan focused on Battlefield 1942 and Battlefield 2. It is our objective to enhance the gaming experience by emphasizing teamwork, and comradeship. We will accomplish this by following the ranking system used by the U.S. Army, as well as through regularly scheduled practices and “anytime” game play.
Our mission is to create a superior on-line fighting force that can effectively decimate other clans.
Our Goals are simple:
1. To have fun!
2. To use TEAMWORK!
3. To enhance our skills by learning from the other members.
4. To be competitive in League Play. (Currently we participate in TWL & BFCL)
5. To meet interesting people.
Things not tolerated:
1. Excessive complaining. If there something you do not like, figure out a solution and share it with the officers.
2. Excessive foul language. This includes: Comments about race, drugs, and cussing. (Once in awhile is fine, just don’t abuse it!)
3. Bashing the U.S. Military. (If they do something you don’t like, keep it to yourself.)

RULES
Please read and agree to the following -=4th=- Server rules before playing on one of our servers. We hold our members to the same rules standard as our public guests. If you have a complaint about a -=4th=- member not following the stated rules, please post in our forums at www.4thclan.com.
Note that we reserve the right to kick pubs from our server to make room for paying -=4th=- members. Enjoy our server and want a guaranteed spot? Enlist as a New Recruit.
Server Rules - All Battlefield Games:
- No Cheating:
Anyone caught - or suspected of using - wall hacks, aim-bots, custom textures, ghost accounts, map exploits or other cheats will be permamently banned. No exceptions - we have a zero tolerance policy on this. Anyone caught - or suspected of - glitching our server will also be permamently banned.
- Respect the -=4th=- Tag:
Use of the -=4th=- clan tag by non-members is strictly prohibited until we accept you as a new Recruit. Application for recruitment is located in our forums.
- Respect Others:
Flaming others or chat spamming on global chat will result in a kick or ban pending Admin decision. Abuse and descimination will not be tolerated.
- Respect our Admins:
Please follow all instructions and warnings of the -=4th=- Administrators. This includes helping to even up sides if the game is unbalanced.
- Keep it Clean:
Please refrain from using foul language, sexist / racist or similar remarks. If you persist after a warning from an Admin, you may be kicked. This includes the use of offensive player names.
- Do not Team Kill:
TKing on purpose (even for revenge) will not be tolerated and may result in a kick pending Admin decision. Excessive abusers may be banned permamently.
- Do not Team Stack:
Please do not switch to the other team so as to unbalance sides. This is a kickable offense pending an initial Admin warning. Also, please refrain from team stacking with your clanmates to all one side. We divide up our -=4th=- members and expect your clan to do the same if you have more than 3 members present.
- Do not Spawn Camp or Base Rape:
Do not camp spawn points without attempting to also capture the flag. You may not enter an enemy uncappable base unless your team holds every other flag on the map. If one is greyed out the other way, you must leave immediately. Exceptions include being shot down over enemy territory and SpecOps members attempting to blow Commander assets (BF2). You may fire into the enemy base from the perimeter however.
- Do not waste team Assets:
Please do not drive vehicles to pickup planes or heavier equipment.
BF42 Specific Rules:
- If you cannot fly planes / bombers, please practice in Single Player - not on our server.
BF2 Specific Rules:
- Please join a Squad before picking your first spawn point and help contribute to team play.
- Suspected stats padders will be permamently banned.
- If you cannot fly jets / helicopters, please practice in Single Player - not on our Ranked server.
- You may be kicked for excessive n00b-toobing, dolphin diving, bunny hopping and/or C4 chucking if the server begins to drain because of complaints about your gameplay. We understand these things happen, but if we're losing other players - you're outta here.
